This Moving Fillister Plane is capable of cutting very accurate and repeatable joinery. It is similar to a rabbet plane, however, it has extra guidance - an adjustable fence for width of cut, a depth stop, and a nicker blade to sever the wood fibers ahead of the cut when used across the grain. The fence helps maintain a 90 degree cut. You will be amazed at how quickly and precisely you can cut joinery by hand.

• It is 10 1/2" long with a maximum 1 11/16” width of cut.

• Weighs 4.6 lbs.

• Imperial scale on depth stop and fence for ease of use.

• Fully adjustable blade.

• 20 degree skewed blade is 01 Tool Steel with a 60 degree blade pitch, creating an exceptionally smooth finish across the grain or with the grain in difficult wood.

• Nicker blade is M2 High Speed Steel.

• Fence does not need to be totally removed to insert or remove the blade.
