This cover is made for the Florip Toolworks 9" dovetail saw. Cowhide Leather is extremely durable - that's why its used for the soles of shoes.

White Salmon Leather Saw Covers are hand stitched with Ritza .8m Tiger thread. Known for its strength and durability, this thread is the preferred choice of professional leatherworkers. Only hand stitching is used on these covers as it is superior to the strength a sewing machine can provide. The sheath's are infused with Atom wax and hand rubbed with Tan-Kote finish. Once the edges are burnished, they are finished with beeswax. Each sheath is then treated on the inside and broken in with a corresponding saw. In addition to hand stitching, brass hardware ensures a lifetime of use.
