As with any well-designed tool, it is the details that make this little jewel a serious performer and a pleasure to use. Milled from a single piece of 304 stainless steel, the textured inside surface holds the marker in place while dovetail lines are being stuck. On the marking surfaces, a crisp transition between the dovetail angle and the shorter, square leg makes wrapping the layout line around the corner both accurate and easy.

Available in 1:6 (9°), 1:7 (8°), and 1:8 (7°) so you can choose the perfect look for your dovetails. While a single angle may suffice for your needs, many well-equipped shops have one of each for maximum versatility.
