A Side Round Plane is used to sink a curved surface adjacent to a vertical surface in a molding. These planes are very useful when making complex moldings.

• 8-7/8” long by 1/2” wide by 2-5/8” high

• O1 TS blade is 3/16” thick, hardened to RC 62-64, and shaped to suit the sole of the plane

• 60 degree blade angle

• Sole is a 1/2” radius, 90 degree segment

• Available as a pair or individually

• The side of the plane with the curved edge indicates whether it is a left or right hand plane, e.g. if the curved edge is on the right side when the plane is facing forward (HNT Gordon stamp at the front), it is a right hand plane.
