The Left Hand Side Rabbet/Rebate Plane is used for trimming and fine tuning rabbets, dadoes, and other hard to reach places on moldings. Used with the dovetail fence, the Side Rabbet/Rebate Plane can be used for converting a dado into a tapered sliding dovetail joint. The fence is fit with a wooden shoe which sets the dovetail angle.

• Each is 8 7/8” long x 7/8” wide x 2 5/8” high.

• Each weighs 1.3 lbs.

• Blade is 7/8" wide x 1/8” thick Tool Steel hardened to RC 62-64.

• Blade pitch is 50 degrees for superior results.

• Sole is a concave 1/2" radius, 90 degree segment on the right hand side of plane.

• Boxed in brass to minimize wear.

• Dovetail fences are 3/4” wide x 3 1/2” long and can be adjusted up and down from 0” to 7/8”.

• Made from Gidgee, a very dense and stable Australian wood.
