This Jointer Plane is ideal for flattening and truing very long wood surfaces or for jointing long boards over 6 feet. Its length allows it to hit the high spots as it bridges the low ones. Works very well when used on a long shooting board. Especially good on difficult or reversing grain.

• It is 2 3/4” wide x 1 7/8” high and you specify the length between 24” to 27”.

• Weighs 6.83 lbs.

• Option of a blade made from O1 Tool Steel (TS) hardened to RC 62-64 OR High Speed Steel (HSS) hardened to RC 62. 

• Has a higher blade pitch of 60 degrees for planing hard, difficult, or figured woods.

• Blade is reversible to bevel up, effectively creating a blade pitch of 90 degrees, allowing the plane to act as a scraper. It’s two tools in one!

• The HSS is ideal if you plan to reverse the blade and use it as a scraper on hard woods, as it will retain the edge longer under heat. However, it will take longer to sharpen.

• Blade is 1/4 thick and 2” wide x 4 3/8” long.

• Tapered handle allows the plane to be pushed or pulled and is removable.

• Made from Gidgee, a very dense and stable Australian wood.
